Here’s a quick rundown of the various types of ambulances we offer and what each one is used for

Medical First Responder: This type of ambulance is equipped with basic medical supplies and is designed to provide immediate medical attention in emergency situations. They are mostly the first to arrive at the location of an accident/other medical emergency.

Basic Life Support Ambulances (BLS): BLS ambulances are staffed by trained medical professionals and are equipped to provide basic medical care and transportation for patients who require monitoring and treatment during transit.

Advanced Life Support Ambulances (ALS): ALS ambulances are staffed by highly trained medical professionals who are equipped to provide advanced medical care, such as administering medications, performing intubation and providing critical care.

These ambulances are used to serve- Medical/surgical patients with a continuous Intravenous, patients on a cardiac monitor, patients with potential airway compromise, respiratory distress, stroke, seizure, chest pains, etc.

Patient Transport: This type of ambulance is used to transport patients who require medical attention, but do not require emergency medical services. They are often used to transport patients between hospitals or medical facilities.

Water Ambulances: Water ambulances are specially designed to provide medical assistance in water-based emergencies, such as drowning, near-drowning or other water-related incidents.

Train Ambulances: Train ambulances are designed to provide medical care and transportation for patients on long-distance train journeys.

Air Ambulances: Air ambulances are equipped with medical equipment and are used to transport patients who require emergency medical attention over long distances, often by air.

ICU Ambulances: ICU ambulances are equipped with intensive care equipment and are used to transport critically ill patients who require continuous monitoring and treatment.

Dead Body Ambulances: Dead body ambulances are used to transport the bodies of deceased persons to the hospital or mortuary.
